A famous scientific principle that I just made up called the Law of Crossover Creation states that "If someone plays two video games at the same time, they will start having all sorts of weird ideas for crossovers". That's pretty much what happened to me with Splatoon and Shantae and the Pirate's Curse here. (Actually, it happened four months ago, but hype for the final Splatfest finally inspired me to carry it out.) Anyway, here's Squid Baron, Marf, and an actual squid commenting on each other's designs. I think it's kind of funny, but if no one else concurs I wouldn't be that surprised.
