Yes, like most people, the majority of Jews are progressives while a small portion of the most orthodox, hard core, religious fanatics vote republican. But that is no different than any other group in America. Liberals always have conservatives beat in numbers, liberals just rarely turn out to vote.

That's true in general. PEW actually did an analysis of American Jews recently, and it turns out that Orthodox Jews (the most religious/fundamentalist sect) are more often politically conservative.

Does that matter? We are giving them things they can afford on their own while our people are literally going without food and medicine. I have no problem with the idea of trying to provide help to countries that NEED it but Israel doesn't need our help at all. We are basically paying them to be our friend like we're the most pathetic losers on earth. We need to stop that shit.

Israel isn't America's friend. Israel is out for itself and, this just in: America isn't in the middle east. Frankly, it's not our problem. We get nothing from Israel but grief. The rest of the middle east hates us because we support Israel. That should tell you that maybe, just maybe, we're on the wrong side. If Israel wants our continued support, they should stop acting like assholes to the people around them so we don't need to come in and help bail them out of war after war after war.

What kind of leash do you think America has on Israel? I mean, we are pretty much letting them rape and kill at will in the Gaza strip while giving them a defense system that keeps them mostly immune to the attacks of their victims. I don't really get where you think we are holding them back militarily. At this point Israel is like a frat drunk with power that the school is just letting do whatever it wants. I don't see what more we could really let Israel get away with. I mean, do they want to nuke people? Biological weapons maybe? Some napalm perhaps? Agent Orange? I mean what more do they want?

Every time Israel tries to do defend itself, Obama cries human rights violation.
If Israel really wanted all Palestinians dead, they would have been killed, Israel chose not to.
And most importantly, all the deaths in Gaza are automatically blamed on Israel.

Israel "Defends" itself by launching missiles into what is basically a concentration camp. The people in the Gaza strip are prisoners there. They can't leave. It's 25 miles long and 6-12 miles wide depending on what part you are in. It is a shooting gallery that Israel likes to shoot at to make themselves fell better. If Israel really wanted peace, they could just send in troops and literally force the people onto boats then ship them to a better place to live or stop making it impossible for the people who live there to get food and medicine without having to dig smuggling tunnels.
We call it human rights violations because Israel doesn't want to solve the problems in Gaza, it is doing everything it can to keep the people in Gaza right where they are so Israel can keep bombing them and shooting them while oppressing them.
It's like an adult kicking a 4 year old to the ground then kicking him in the stomach till he tries to get up only to push him back down and keep kicking him. If Israel wanted to stop the violence they could, but they don't want to. They don't want those people gone. They don't want them to have a decent life. They just want to keep punishing them for daring to not bow to Israel. That is what the world thinks of Israel. They are a bully.

Interesting that the prisoners in the concentration camps are armed to the teeth and even have an elected government that has sworn to wipe out all the jews. people are not allowed to leave? yet there was a huge influx of people flooding into palestine while it was formed, why was that, people volutarily going into a concentration camp?
Funny thing that people think that those tunnels are to get medicines whereas those tunnels are filled with arms and explosives and have openings near israeli kindergartens.
