This is the lovable Claptrap from Borderlands. I had been looking for a pattern to create this little guy for quite some time, and one of my favorite crochet websites finally posted an awesome pattern (thank you Nerdigurumi!).

Not counting the many times I had redo after redo, Claptrap took about an average of 4-5 days to make. I used Bright Yellow, White, Black, Light Gray, and Charcoal worsted weight yarn. For the eye piece, I used Charcoal yarn and stitched a 14mm blue button to the inside (I was hoping to create a glow effect). The chest piece was created using black, red, and green felt glued together with Liquid Stitch. He stands about 7 or 8 inches tall, so he's great for your small plushie collection.
