Description
So here is the first page of the sister series to Solarshadow, The Shinning Consequence. This one is introducing Nightmare, the series antagonist and reintroduces Blaze to you, who gets to do a lot more in this one then she will in Solarshadow, though she will be in that one too from time to time, as will Nigthmare. The Vulpix and nine tails are side characters that are friends of Blaze’s, which doesn’t say much because she is very social and knows almost everyone. I also wanted to set the atmosphere for Nightmare, as the Shining Consequence will have comedic elements too but Nightmare is not one of them. This series will mostly star Tyler, Solar’s Nephew and will be going along with Solar shadow a sa sister series. The events of the two will cross over from time to time as well.First: This is the first

There will be Comedy but Nightmare is not one of them. Oh really? I thought a Soul stealing Ghost Monster is Always there for a good time XD.
I also wonder if Nightmare is his second Name or if he like other characters had a "normal" Name before. I Name him Dirk! Also, why does he haunt Kids. Does he get stronger by their fear?

XD Yes indeed
In my comics, when they evolve, they take on new names to go with their new form, it's a tradition sort of thing. They don't have to do that and if they know what they want to call themselves, they sometimes adopt the new name before evolving like Solar and Harvest did. Nightmare would have most likely had a different name as a Ghastly and a Haunter. Their names are usually a reference to their type though, so it wouldn't be a normal name (sometimes its based on the form itself, like Solar named himself that because Espeon is the Sun Pokemon). If a Pokemon has a trainer, they usually just adopt whatever name the trainer gives them like Nymphia and Aydrean did.
As far as why he's doing this, it's because Nightmare is very dedicated to his beliefs. If he were in a DND type setting, he would be a Lawful Evil aligned character, somebody who follows laws strictly, but evil laws (usually from an evil master or evil laws they them-self put in place). He makes no exceptions for anybody and he holds his beliefs and values very strictly and expects those under his thumb to as well. Here, the Vulpix trespassed into his lands for whatever reason (adventurous, got lost, something like that most likely), which is against the rules, it doesn't matter he's a child. As such, he must be punished and Nightmare himself did it most likely because the Vulpix is from Akripap and Nightmare hates how that place is run, as Dragonite's leadership is very, very different, being more of a guardian or protector basically (his distaste for how it is run is the primary reason why he wants to take it over).

I see see thaks for Expaining. Maybe as a Haunter he was called Walter, why I think that? Idk.
And I think traumatising this Vulpix instead of killing it makes a way better example. ANd that with the forbidden lands reminds extremly of the Lion king.

He wasn't killed no, the Vulpix was more or less traumatized.

Gengar may be very related to death, but I see a lot of Ghost-type that got a serious fascination for psychological torturing. And that's why I really love them

Yeah, Nightmare is interested in power and control above all else and uses both physical and mental techniques to do that.

The Ninetails is a friend of Blaze's and the family in general. She asked Blaze to help her comfort her son after what had happened and the conversation is after Blaze did that.

Gengar is pretty awesome, easily my favorite Ghost type. Gengar just fit the role as Nightmare the best.
