Description
So as mentioned, I have decided to go through with a special sequence I have been looking forward to for a while now. This scene I hope to be one of the big scenes of chapter 3, similar to the dance in chapter 2. We get to see Nymphia and Solar getting along and Solar making his first effort to accomplish the promise he swore to at the end of Chapter 2. So we begin that sequence. I hope you guys like it. Been a while since I've drawn Nymphia, so she might look a little odd here, should be back into the normal swing of things soon. Hope you guys like it.

I have been trying to improve the art for a while, as I consider that the weakest element of the comics I make. I didn't do anything special for this page (not intentionally anyway) but I have been trying to shade and highlight with a larger color spectrum, so it might be just the results of that.

lol I love how Solar jokingly tried to confirm that he still wasn't in her crosshairs, and how Nymphia egged him back so casually like nothing had happened between them. I feel like these two are beginning to develop a brother-sister type of relationship. They have their differences and own ways of approaching a problem, yet deep down, they both seem to acknowledge just how much they need each other. Rivalries are nothing new to siblings. It'll always there, but at least now, they appear to be learning how to keep their rivalries and differences in check in the face of larger problems which they must aim to band together against.
One optional small suggestion I have to make is how these TMs are used. While in the main series games, they pretty much function as seen here: use them and POOF, the move is learned. However, I feel like you might be missing out on character development opportunities by doing this. The process of learning attacks, particularly powerful ones like Hyper Beam, can be complex and difficult to master, which in turn can lend itself to not only show their determination and current state of mind, but be reflected in their respective battle-styles, too. As for how these TMs could function with this idea in mind, perhaps they could simply be instructive-like videos that focuses on grasping the basics needed for using the attack, but it's up to the "student" to figure out the specific way they go about implementing these basics. An example from anime would be how Naruto learned how to use a Ragengan and the struggles he faced when attempting to do so. His master visually showed him how to do each step, but left him to his own devices to figure out how to carry them out. The quirk he struggled with was trying to figure out how to implement all the steps together, as it required intense focus and forced him to pretty much multitask. Naruto, however, was simple-minded and had a lot of difficulty concentrating on anything, let alone multitasking. His solution? He realized while pondering about what he was doing wrong that if he wasn't able to do everything at once like his master could, then theoretically, he could use his Shadow Clone technique (a specialty of his) to divide up the workload into much more manageable pieces, each clone performing the specific task required and all in unison with one another. This method became his default way of using Rasengan throughout the rest of the series. Having personal touches to certain skill, especially complex ones, is a great way of showcases one's own weaknesses and how they can use their strengths and/or a given situation to make up for it with the right state of mind.
For this page and Hyper Beam, you could've used Solar's remarks as a source of doubt that could hinder her concentration when focusing energy together for Hyper Beam. After all, such harsh remarks, regardless of your stance in the situation, can still weigh heavily on one's mind and further fuel the inner conflict within Nymphia over which life to commit to; one with Shadow, or one with Marina?
Of course, a simple counterpoint to all of this would simply be that such an approach would only slow the pacing of the story, and that you'd prefer to focus on character development shown through the plot's events itself rather than extra scenes that may only reinforce what is either already known or will be known later. And you're certainly not wrong. Given the fact that you've already established how TMs work in your story, changing the formula up this far into the story so suddenly could be quite disruptive. Still, maybe there's a middle ground that can be accomplished somewhere. I mean, level-up moves are also a thing in the poke-verse, so.... maaaaaybeee? (Perhaps Tyler in Shining C. could benefit from this considering the fact that he's basically on his own right now.)
Regardless, great job once again! I'm anxious to see what Solar's idea is.

Yeah they have kind of a uneasy bond right now, Nymphia did accept Solar's apology but Solar himself feels pretty bad about the whole thing anyway. So they're relationship should be pretty interesting to explore form here I think.
Well the TM machine was shown operating in Shining Consequence when Tyler uses it to learn to Shadow Ball. There it basically works by creating the energy needed to use the attack, Tyler picked it up and first learned how to mimic it himself, which he initially failed to do. He than fired Shadow ball off with the energy from the TM but when he tried to do it with his own, it once again failed. So he had to try again. So in this there's two steps to it, learning to create the attack and than learning how to execute it. Nymphia has learned TMs before (she has been shown using TM moves before), so she should know how it works already (whereas Tyler had to figure it out, partially because he planned to use Secret Power to run away and didn't want anybody to know about that). Solar also knows how to use it, so he could help with that if need be.
Main point of Hyper beam being shown here is to show he did actually teach it to her. He didn't just give her a useless CD, he did actually teach the move to her like he said he would. He also said giving the TM to her was a peace offering, it was never apart of the apology itself. So that is in part why he is doing this during this scene. Hyper Beam may or may not play another role but mainly it was one of the things they were talking about during their fight with each other.
As far as learning level up moves, I haven't shown that but I have introduced a concept called mastering them, which basically means they can do special things with the attacks. For instance bouncing off of walls is something you can do with Quick Attack if you learn how to. Stuff like that.

My guess obn how he is gonna show Marina is that he uses his psychic powers to create some sort of nothern lights/ starlights which can form faces and maybe even talk like Mufasa in lion king, epsecially since you calledd it the astral prjection scene if this is the sceene you talked about. Lets see if I am right.
