So I was talking about doing a Transformers comic as well some time ago and haven't mentioned it (haven't mentioned anything about the Transformers actually since like July, excluding the Genesect piece) and I have decided that, like Catch me If You Can, I have developed a Transformers story I would love to see get a physical form. Well obviously Michael Bay is never gonna deliver that, so I have made my decision, yes, yes I will do a Transformers comic. However I have a lot backed up as it is and there really isn't room to work on it and get it out soon, so it will be placed on the work order for now and I will start making a few panels, I suspect you will see a taste of them at the end of December but won't get the strips in regular releases until February.
The story is going to begin with a short prologue story titled the Origins of the Decepeticons and will focus primarily on the characters Megatron, Starscream, and Soundwave, there will also be focus on Autobot characters Ironhide, Elita and Orion Pax as well. The story is basically about the founding of the Decepticons, Megatron's rise as a revolutionary and fall into Tyranny as he becomes obsessed with power and control. This prologue isn't needed to see to understand what is going on in the latter plot but I feel it will help understand the conflict between Megatron and Optimus Prime better latter. This Prologue is titled Origins of the Decepticons, but the comic will be called Transformers: This is War after it concludes.
I already showed Soundwave's design but I will keep Megatron's a secret for now, Megatron will have two designs though, a diplomacy look where he looks more like a councilmen and his Kaon Pits Gladiator look, where he'll look a bit more typical. here he is in the gladiator look. Starscream, you might be shown his design early, haven't decided yet. You will likely see TC and Skywarp though along the way.
