A "scab," if you don't know, is a non-union worker who crosses or tries to cross a picket line. Scabs give bosses leverage to resist collective action by workers. They betray all workers for a few pieces of silver. Never cross a picket line. Never take the job of a striking worker. Solidarity!!!

Scabs...
"Look Mr. Boss~. I'm a good boy~. Look! I'M WORKING! I'm a good boy! Please love me boss, I'll be good! <: D"
Some idiot who thinks he'll rise the corporate ladder working on an assembly line...

i see scabs like i see male prostitutes
i ve been lucky enough to not have to do it but i can see how someone may be made so desperate by our economic system to convince themselves that they need to do it

Yep, and the bosses count on -- and thus create -- a group that is so oppressed that they not only do not recognize, but actively work against, their own class interests.

Oh yeah, I remember that quote now.

I always ask the reactionary blue collar types who are my neighbors (I live in a very rural part of Appalachia), "why do you vote against your economic self-interest?" If you can get people thinking about why that is, it can be eye-opening.

so Walt Disney was all for unions and working rights... My respect for this man meets no bounds. NO BOUNDS.

This is a re-mix of an original World War II propaganda poster that urged workers not to be "job hoppers," thus enhancing employers' bargaining power over wages. It was drawn by Disney, who was about an anti-union as they come. That's one of the beautiful things about these re-mixes: turning the original message on its head.

Yeah, I know. I'll have to try to come up with a poaster about "free riders."
