(( Okay, I need to clarify a few things. I know I run a nostalgia-fag Zelda blog, but that doesn’t mean im going to run a nostalgia fag Mario blog, even if the classics are my favorites in that series too. Mario is only in his red-overalls due to this question having a flashback to the original Super Mario Bros.

As for why that “Bowser” looks so funky, It’s based off the Bowser on the old original artwork for the game which featured a blue Bowser…I do not believe that the real Bowser ever looked like that, but in my head canon I like to imagine that the “False Bowsers” that held Toad captive actually looked a little off the mark.

Also, I’m aware that Super Mario All-Stars retconned the single-Toad being kidnapped into the number-world they were found in, but im ignoring that. (they were miniature in world 7, that’s silly.) ))
