Description
This is another of my favorites from my old gallery. Keep in mind, I drew this before New Super Mario Bros Wii was even released, so no power ups from that game or Galaxy 2...Related content

You should expand this. I recently commented on the other one – didn't realize this one was up or that you killed your old account – and posted a list of the ones you're missing. I'll repost it here:
Superball Link (from Super Mario Land 1)
Propeller Link (from New Super Mario Bros. Wii)
Ice Link (from NSMBW as well)
Penguin Link (yet another from NSMBW)
Cloud Link (from Super Mario Galaxy 2)
Rock Link (also from Galaxy 2)
Boomerang Link (from Super Mario 3D Land) with Fairy Boomerang
Emerald Link (Gold Flower Result from New Super Mario Bros. 2) shooting emeraldball that turns enemy into 5 Rupees
Flying Squirrel Link (from New Super Mario Bros. U)
I understand that you made this before all but the first of this list was real, but it would be cool to see all of them.

Literally nothing changes visually about Super Ball Mario, so I decided not to make one of these.
It might be a fun thing to draw someday when im bored, but of course I'd probably use classic Link instead.

True, nothing changes visually about him in the black-and-white game. But if they ever remake that game – maybe as a two-for-one with its sequel – I hope they do change it to like the Fire Mario suit with grey instead of white.
NUUU! Must stay Toon Link! Is more cuteness! Maybe two versions: one an expansion of this one with the above list added to the right, the other a whole set as Adult Link?

I'm sorry, but fan art of Toon Link and the "Adult Links" are a dime a dozen. I think Classic Link not only deserves more love, but is just as adorable as the others.

"Classic Link"? What do you mean by that, if not what I mean by "Adult Link"?

I break the Links into a few categories.
CLASSIC LINK:
Link from Zelda 1, and Adventure of Link. ( He's 12 in Zelda 1, and 16 in Zelda 2 )
Link from A Link to the Past, Oracle of Seasons/Ages, and Link's Awakening ( He's 12 in that game, shows no aging in the sequels )
YOUNG LINK:
Nine year old Link from Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask.
TOON LINK:
Link from the Wind Waker, and any game that uses the same art style.
ADULT LINK:
16 year old Link from Ocarina of Time
Link from Twilight Princess
And Link from Skyward Sword
...My favorite is 12 year old Link from Zelda 1. He's got a brown turtle neck, light brown hair, no tights, smaller eyes, and a button nose.
Here's a quick drawing of him: [link] ...though he's all over my gallery.

Ahh... okay. So you like the NES/SNES/GB Link. Gotcha.
Although you know that unless stated otherwise, each game has a different Link? The exceptions I'm aware of are the two games for the NES have the same Link, Ocarina ans Majora's Mask have the same Link (although in Majora he retroactively prevented Ganon from ever rising, so the later portion of Ocarina never happened except in Link's worldline), and Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass have the same Link, and the Link from Spirit Tracks is that Link's grandson.

When did I imply any of the Links were the same?
I know all of this... Well except that last one. There's not any proof of that. The only thing we know is that Zelda in ST is the Great Great Grandaughter of Tetra.

You didn't, I just read your header wrong. I read it to mean "I see four Links" when you meant "four Link categories." The bad is all mine.
So excluding your whole "Classic Link doesn't get enough love," what is your favorite Zelda game? I personally like Twilight Princess and A Link To The Past.
Same question for Mario: which subseries do you like best? I personally like the platformers, especially the sidescrollers (sidescrollers includes 3D Land. That game made me have to draw two lines down the Mario platformer organization. Previously I was able to say "2D or 3D Mario" but now I have to say "sidescroller or exploratory Mario".)

Well a Link to the Past is my favorite Zelda game. I can't decide the order of my other top four, Zelda 1, Link's Awakening, Ocarina of Time, and the Wind Waker.
I also prefer the platformers... I'll be honest and say I don't care much for the spinoffs at all, apart from RPGs, and platformers starring other characters.
I don't get what you mean about 3D Land. It's 3D. It's just linear, if that's what you mean... which is okay with me. The Galaxy games were pretty linear too, and I prefer Mario to be linear.

For whatever reason, Super Mario World and the NSMB games jumped out of their spot. They were supposed to be between SMB3 and SM3DL and be both bold and italic.

The RPGs are good. I especially like the MaL ones and Super Paper Mario. Never played Legend of the Seven Stars so I can't comment on that one.
There is a spectrum to the Mario platformers. The ones you call "linear" I call "sidescroller". The flipside to that is "exploratory." In the list below, which is ordered from Sidescroller to exploratory, those I classify as solid sidescrollers are in bold, and the 2D games in italics:
Super Mario Bros.
Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels
Super Mario Land
Super Mario Land 2: The Six Golden Coins
Super Mario Bros. 3
Super Mario 3D Land
Super Mario Bros.: Doki Doki Panic
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Mario 64
Super Mario 64 DS
Super Mario Sunshine
There. I think that's all of 'em.
Super Mario World
New Super Mario Bros.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
New Super Mario Bros. 2
New Super Mario Bros. U

You know, I saw this picture months ago, but never knew you drew it! I wanted to comment, but I didn't know you at the time. This picture still holds up today, IMO!

Too funny! The little Poe in love with Boo Link is a nice touch, as is the Skull Hammer for the Hammerhead Bro Link. I also like Starman Link's expression as he runs.

I believe I commented on this before but n ice to see it again, love how it reminds me of Wind Waker link and his many emote faces. Though one of my favorites is auctally from Twilight Princess when he holds a Ococo and the akward expression he gives X3;
