So Greyback is an analogy for a rapist (and pedophile considering his interest in biting children), makes him even creepier. So basically Hermione wasΒ nearly raped, poor girl, no wonder she was so terrified.

Wait. If that so, then... then... When Remus Lupin was a child he was bitten by Fenrir Greyback.... does it mean...Β HELL NO. No, no, no, that's just extra dark, man!
Considering that many years later Remus had to work as a spy for the Order of Phoenix and live among werewolves and, wolfpack forced him to recognize Fenrir as a leader.... no, no, no. That's just way too hardcore. Let's hope, Fenrir just likes to bite. :-D

No, I didn't mean someone actuallyΒ got raped, it just a bite. I'm just saying it could be analogy/comparison, which still makes it pretty creepy. It's not one a child would understand but a teen or adult might pick up on it. I have no idea what was going on inside Rowling's mind when she wrote it, let's hope it wasn't as dark and creepy as what's inside mine.

and I think that JRK left a lot of things juuuust vague enough that they wouldn't scar little kids for life... but not so vague that we don't suspect what happened. (Like... I don't think Ariana would be so traumatized for life after some boys just... beat her up.

This just made me squirm with happiness. Greyback is just awesome, he's one of my favourite characters in books 6 and 7. You really did him justice here, one of the best versions I've seen.
