Very awesome I like it a lot
and I did buy your encyclopedia for my kindle. well written, but how did you come up with the Latinized versions of their names? Did you just pick words that sounded good or did you do some kind of research?

Hi,
Thanks for purchasing the book, I hope you both enjoy and learn something from it!
The scientific names are derived from both Latin and Greek terms that describe the Pokémon. The prefixes and suffixes sometimes describe physical characteristics or real-world references. For instance Darmanitan's latinised name: Pyrogrennian morphopithecus, translates to 'Flaming grimace' (Pyrogrennian) and 'Ape-shaped' (morphopithecus). In subsequent additions I'll probably provide a key of suffixes and prefixes that describe the names.
Cheers
