Description
One of the colored pencil drawings I'll be offering to the owner of my riding school.
This is Jaqueta, the lovely mare that had to be put down because time wasn't being easy on her.
I mostly rode her in the beginning and I learned the basics(how to keep your balance and that stuff) from her. She was truly a lovely mare, I wish I could have seen her in her younger days.
All the other horses obeyed to her, she was like their matriarch or something. I sure do miss her, but it was better to put her down, she didn't even want to walk in the pasture anymore, she just lay down on her stable the whole time on her final days.

And no, that place she's at here isn't based on the barn where I take classes, just something I made up

This is only part one, I'll be drawing Órfeu too.

Ah well, this is it for now, I'll upload more stuff tomorrow(it's past midnight here).

The pose was referenced from a very old postcard my mother has. I cannot find the name of the photographer, unfortunately.
Edit: It seems the photo was by Tomas and Lida Micek, I was finally able to make out the names of the photographers behind the all the handwriting.
