Gift art for of her OC Libertad.I've been wanting to draw this mare for quite a long time and finally got around to it.
I simply love her design, she's so gorgeous!
I bought some paper the other day with these pretty effects and wanted to try it out so I took the chance.
It was a real challenge coloring this one but I'm very pleased with the outcome(not so pleased with the scan... anyway moving on).
I like the little pegasus XD

The hair is my favorite part in this and I had such a hrad time with it because of the paper >-< But I love the way it looks.

You are welcome! The only thing I see, is the tail looked a lot smaller in the thumb cause the white blended with the paper, but oh well. It's still a great piece!

Oh forget it, I though you were talking about something else XD The white was really hard to pull out because I'm not used to work with white pencil but I think it turned out good ^^

White pencil is unique! I am still figuring out how to deal with white in pictures too. And I think it turned out good too! I was pleasantly surprised when I went to full view on how full the tail was!

I've been using white pencil a lot lately, it really helps blending colors and gives a softer feeling to the image.

I love to use white for blending. It can fade things out, sometimes, so depending on the piece, I might go over it again with other colors to brighten it up. But it really brings out other colors too!

It was the scanner, it put a white blur near it, I really don't know where that came from.
