Honorable Mention prize for *life-d-sign for her entry on my contest that ended more than a year ago... I really feel terrible...She asked for a drawing of her gorgeous stallion Loan.
Her characters are always so great, I simply love them.
I started out drawing his banned unicorn form, but his mane/tail were too long, so I decided it was best to portray his unicorn form.
I had a lot of fun drawing this one. The mane was fun to shade and I really like his head for some reason.

Shading white can be tricky, I think it looks a little too silverish, but I like the way it looks.

Love the blue in the shading on his coat. I like those blue ribbony looking things too. The background is nice---I like how the upper part of the bg and the shadow fade downward.
