Ever has Tluaen ached to be part of something more. He spoke to Talas about this and I wish I could remember Paul and I's RP conversation to quote it here...it was rather interesting. And I loved how Talas was like "so.....what do drow normally eat for breakfast?" all cheerily after they'd had the intense debate about their pasts and their destinies to lighten the mood lol. I am enjoying the bond of friendship slowly forming between them
Of course, I'm thoroughly enjoying all of that dungeon/adventure as it unfolds! My bro really came up with a HIGHLY engaging campaign!!!So much so this image has been stuck in my head the passed few days and so I decided I had to sketch it out real quick. Hardly colored in deep detail or anything but I just wanted to make the image
Took me about an hour and a half or so heh. Showcasing my drow cleric-rogue[will be shadowdancer] of The Masked Lady [Eilistraee as when she joins with Vhaeraun], Tluaen, holding up his SoulShard. His is dark obsidian but it glows white. Just what this interesting little gem-item does I cannot tell you...I'm still discovering it myself
I know it gets warm when visions are had by the character or those others in the group, that it is "a missing piece of our souls", is connected with our ancestors somehow, will glow and levitate at times, glowed, got warm and levitated when accepted...and got warm when mentioning the name Tober o.O....For a drow based off the LP books and a wood elf that is obsessed with becoming a knight of Bale, of which is based off of Dragoon...there's been so many different aspects of this adventure my bro is DMing that are sooooooo perfect and ironically falling into place to fit JUST right to my two characters involved. I'd love to tell more but the story is still developing, and it's also 4 am and I have to work tomorrow.....I should get to bed << >> lol

Thank you! I imagine that Tluaen does a lot of his speaking with his eyes more than his own voice. I always imagined him as a character that really tells a lot of his thoughts, emotions, feelings, and story through his eyes and gestures more than speaking up. Which at times would've been really bad for him and at times would be really good... I am glad that a "quicker, simpler" piece like this could convey a lot of depth like I wanted it to!

This is spectaculous! Not only does Tluaen look awesome in your drawing but I-I-I have DUNGEON FANART! OMG! lol Im glad you all are so in to it. In other news. I really love the glow effect of the Soul Shard It looks just like I pictured it in my brainses lol. There were some good lines from Talas and Tluaen but definatly the "What do drow usually eat for breakfast?" stood out

I keep forgetting...IS it TalAs or TalOs ? do you know? lol! I'm pretty sure mom's fox with Amanae is Talas, so I kept instinctively trying to type Talos as a more masculine and different way but not sure that's correct @.@ and I just had this image stuck in my head so I NEEDED to draw it lol. Especially after remembering Tluaen's shard is supposed to be black but glow white. So I colored it dark purply-blue-black and then added the white glow around it. hehehe thought it'd be fun. I think it really helps that you made the dungeon very character-oriented. That way each of us IS important to the story developing all around us...makes it that much more engaging to all of us.

lol It Is Talas, Talos is from Skyrim, and one of my old Star Wars characters name from raconteurs. Yeah I forgot it was black when Tiff made them lol It had been to long since we played. Thanks for the commentary on the Dungeon but I tell you its not easy trying to keep the momentum up lol.

I think it was also one of Kelly's characters...the chick that had Tobias, the floppy eared cat guy. I guess my instinct was just to change it from Talas because that was Amanae's fox too lol.

hee hee gems are awesome and so many exciting stories can be made up about them. I really like the scarf across the face like that it looks really cool. and the eyes are so gentle and captivating

hehe thanks! I'm just glad I'm getting to play him in a place where he actually gets to flourish. He, like Nym, was inspired but a character in a book that I was like "now I want one"! lol and so it's neat to let him really shine and develop haha

coolness, its good to see the books you read inspire your new creations. I am the same. I remember when I was a little girl and I saw a male shape shifter shift from a lion to a man and I was hooked ever since. although Hazalin isn't an actual shape shifter. His ability is limited to a horse

being able to shift into animals has always been one of my favorite abilities! that and the ability to control weather like Storm hehhehe if ever I had some sort of special ability I'd want it to be one of the two ^^
