September 12 2009I'm taking a bit of a break in between some art commisions and adoptable work to do one picture for myself. I find that I need to do this every now and again.
Phae'Shalee and Kezzer again, I haven't drawn them in years! They're just being rped again since the game was stopped back in '05 or so, we only skipped maybe about half a year in game so Phae'Shalee is still pregnant (and not quite as full yet as depicted.) I just had this image in my head and thought it would be cute.
The belly button piercing is a gift from Kezzer, he enchants piercings and made one that protects their unborn child so Phae'Shalee can still adventure.

Oh, wow, they do sound like interesting characters! But the best characters, I find, are ones the owners have roleplayed with people close to them 
But I love the sounds of their personalities -- how old would Kezzer be in human years, if Phae'Shalee is 16/17?
Oh -- and you have a son, right? Reckon he'll grow up to roleplay as good as his parents?

I checked with hubby and Kezzer would be probably in his 30s for an equivalant of human years. (Although he's much older then that, and even older then the elvish version of his age due to the dragon blood making him age slower.)
Yuppers, he already has his own fantasy character. He hasn't actually rped with us though, but I'm sure that he'll be playing D&D within a year or two now.

Aha, that'd make sense... A 14 year age gap isn't so bad, they're a sweet couple anyway, so age doesn't particularly matter, right?

Well, probably closer to 100 years difference, but you know... elves. >.> But physcially she's in her late adolesence and he would be a matured adult.
In older D&D editions it had said that elves basically look ageless once they are adults until they are far into an advanced, venerable age. But they seem to keep officially changing how elves age, and they keep lowering their ages. -_- It used to be that a very old elf could be nearly 1,000 years old, now it's like... nearly 400 years old. *sighs* We just use the ages from the older games.

I really need to draw more of the family again, once I get the chance. My style has changed so much since my older pictures, and I still have never put up images of Talalara or Alzin (sister and brother, respectively). They're Pat's characters. (Big haired, opera-diva, and a buff, but not so smart, norse obsessed brother who is often teased and playfully harassed by his sisters.)

Pooka, hun, that is beautiful. Your drow lass is absolutely gorgeous still, and probably moreso than earlier drawings. This is probably the first time I've seen her mate though. Half gold dragon half drow?

Really? You should take a peek at one of my earlier pictures, I have Kezzer in there as well. The old one was actually my first, fully done, tablet drawing.
Yuppers, he's my husband's rp character. His father was a powerful drow wizard who enslaved a young adult gold dragon. Kezzer was raised pretty screwed up and in one of the earlier games with him he went back home to slay his evil father (his mother was long gone by that point).
I should really do a full body picture of Kezzer sometime, the two that I've done don't show his legs. He has backwards legs like a dragon, with large feet (to go with his large hands).

She has four other sisters and a brother that I really need to draw sometime. I have three of her sisters drawn and up in my older gallery.

Phae'Shalee tends to wear nothing but her long hair and a smile, so she likes to decorate with jewelry.
We left that game on hold for so very long that I'm hoping she'll be born sometime. I'm using the SIMS versions of them to determine their child, she looked like a full drow with golden/dragon eyes.

Her father is also curious... Out of five daughters and a son is it really too much to ask for one grandchild who looks like an elf? Not that he really minds all the horns, tentacles, extra legs etc, grandchildren are grandchilden after all, but really. The Moondancer family is going to leave an interesting legacy...
