Description
Overview: Aerialbots, are the only team of Autobots, who can fly, transformed into their flying vehicular mode and specialized in flight and aerial combats. The team consisted of brave and responsible leader Silverbolt, a rash yet fearless warrior Air Raid, intelligent yet humble scientist Jetfire, no-nonsense strict sergeant Slingshot, and also the young cocky yet loyal soldier Skydive.

Details: The only time I see the Aerialbots is in Transformers G1, and they appeared individually on different media. The only episodes I enjoyed watching them is that they travel back to Pre-Cyebrtronian War, where they helped and rescue Orion Pax, who became Optimus Prime. And also they learned the true meaning of 'having power' does not always necessary to be the best hero.

But out of all the Aerialbots, Jetfire is my favorite character for appearing in Transformers: Unicorn Trilogy as the warrior and second-in-command to Optimus Prime. The rest was not much. I was gonna add Silverbolt as my favorite but the version I was referring to is from Beast Wars for being charismatic, humble and honorable warrior for charming Blackarachnia to Maximal Side.

Unlike most of Transformers Media, Jetfire replaced Fireflight because he has taken part of Aerialbots from Transformers War for Cybertron (2010) and Fall of Cybertron (2012), so it is logical that he is now part of the team. The designs of Aerialbots are inspired by both video game version and GUILLERMOTFMASTER 's artworks for Aerialbots. I felt that G1 can't differentiate from each other very much, and often confuse of them. Unlike Dinobots and Constructicons, the Aerialbots have different kind of colors such as Silverbolt's pure silver color, Air Raid's red, Jetfire's white, Slingshot's grayish-bluish and Skydive is black. Originally, I wanted to make Jetfire to transform into Blackbird Jet (for tribute to ROTF), but change it into different version because it is very large and bigger than Silverbolt's.

1) Silverbolt

Voice Actor: Patrick Seitz

Personality: Though he is the leader of Aerialbots, Silverbolt actually has the fear of heights and struggled with flying capability. Despite his phobia he suffered; he is still brave, strong and determined soldier to lead his team against the enemies. He is the most responsible and mature leader, who trusted his team very much and is willing to sacrifice himself to defend his friends and the Autobot cause.

Personality: Air Raid may have been the fearless and courageous soldier, but he often act rash and impulsive, which often put himself and his team in danger. He also rather face the enemies head on than just hiding and doing reconnaissance. He enjoyed flying around the world. Air Raid is also optimistic and did his best to lighten up everyone's mood, regardless of the situation they're facing of.

Personality: As Second-in-Command to Silverbolt, Jetfire provided both his scientific knowledge and tactical advice that can benefit both his team and battle the enemies. He is indeed both intelligent, dedicated and patient yet compassionate scientist, who always put the safety of his teammates and scientists first before engaging science and experiment. He also has strong moral, involving of saving and protecting the lives than just fighting and winning the war.

He disliked slackers and lazy bots for putting both the mission and team in danger. But what he hated the most is him being pranked and almost cause him to have spark-ache. Regardless of his stoic and strict attitude, he really cares and protective of his teammates especially his closest friend Skydive.

Personality: Though the youngest member and rookie to Aerialbots, Skydive is very skilled fighter and Aerialbot especially in his speed flying jet mode. He can be overconfident and cocky for fighting off the enemies. He's quite casual and lax-type of guy, who doesn't want to worry too much of things. He is the most reliable and loyal soldier among Aerialbot. He and Slingshot often headbutts with each other, but they remained closest friends, almost like brothers.
