This would be a birthday present for . Happy birthday again and hope you like it
I don't usually do anything special for birthdays, but I kind of missed some landmarks recently so I figured it would be a shame to also miss a chance to appreciate the support of one of my most active DA pals.
She has wanted to touch the slimes ever since I first drew some , so I figured I should find a slime that would not mind some touching. I am unsure about the details of this slime, but I don't think it would mind if you took it home. I am not sure what gender it is either. It seems gender fluid... literally.
Also, it's been a tough decision on the color schemes. The slime especially. But I figured red works nice with blue, even if blue is her favorite color. Also, her bird form's eyes are yellow by default... but it looks weird if they are closed and yellow, so I opted to make them white since black eyelines... don't work with a black face. Unexpected challenges.
Also, I have some real life plans I have to deal with in the coming weeks, so I will probably be drawing a lot of simple stuff for a while. Or at least try to.

So this slime doesn't mind touching,
but that doesn't mean that it likes it right?
until proven harmless (or mostly harmless) I refuse to be near one!

It's hard to say if it likes it. They are still kind of a mystery to me as well. They emote in weird ways, but so far they haven't been aggressive, usually careful and curious. But I guess they could be dangerous when being reckless.
But I think they enjoy touching.

If expressive, eyes can show as much emotion as the mouth and sometimes even more.
eyes can show confusion and worry, but the mouth only knows the frown for those.
Big eyes are especially good for those situations but the small orange-ish eyes can do just as well.
and it makes sense for them to be careful and curious if they are young,
but that curiosity will grow wild once they realize:
they are made of slime, the are basically immortal.
