Description
Ok, I learned where I mess up yesterday, and with that in mind, I wanted to try a few things.1. no clean loop - this gives me some freedom and less of a pressure when practicing
2. thinner and messier lines - I spent too much retaking lines yesterday for nothing
3. less details and complex shapes - I also spent too much time with needless detailing yesterday. They are not for sketchy stuff
4. less thinky, more scribbly - I planned and worried about too much yesterday, and that ain't helping
The result? Well, you can see it and it's a lot more pleasant to look at even though ti's a regular full body animation. And there are 3 times more keyframes than yesterday. And it took me... 40 minutes...
Progress! Onto more sketchy mayhem tomorrow
She got a rebirth later on:

She stands up in an awkward left-sided way. Very cool otherwise : >

Pretty intentional, but there is a lot of awkward here, looking back at it.

Thanks!
Those tips are for sketchy practices primarily. Since I do them daily, I can't afford too much time (even though I still tend to push it...). But I guess you can follow these steps for the initial sketches on a more complex animation too.
I notice you are doing weekly animation studies so I think you can probably apply these pretty well
When practicing, it's the motion that counts, not the complexity of the image. You can always polish more on top of it given enough time. And at that point it's probably no longer an animation practice but a drawing practice

Not that big an impact, but an impact nonetheless
