For those frames, I used Paint Tool SAI (used texture brushes to get a bit that traditional feel), I also looked how Yataka Nakamura does his impact frames. Funny that you mentioned one punch man since I also though the same; and I for some time I was thinking of changing this to fan animation haha ^^

Pencil 2D. I don't know how to save and upload my animations to Twitter however. It's frustrating so I plan to switch to Anime Studio or Clip Studio after today. Maybe.

I've tried Pencil 2D and didn't really like it, it's a bit clumsy to use. I've heard great things about Clip Studio, never used it though, but I'm hoping of trying it someday. Sakugabooru is awesome place, remember also study real life movements, even if you're aiming for more flashy stuff. Twitter have been real motivator for me (especially # animonthly), so many great animators; really made me to try and push my limits. I still have to see how heavy Clip Studio is for my computer, that is one of the reasons I'm using Flash and not, for example, Krita that also have animation features. I really should upgrade my PC haha ^^

I've no idea how some can defend that dude, but I guess those don't know any better: I highly doubt that people would be defending him if they knew how bad things are for those animators who live in japan. And even if things were good, tracing someone else's (hard) work is still stealing and very disrespectful.
SO, # animonthly, is Ross O'Donovans creation, I think he explains it best: "27th of each month is # Animonthly I'll RT your work." He have 400k+ followers so basically it's "free promotion day". Usually there is optional theme for each month. Of course he doesn't RT every post, but goes trough and RT what he thinks looks good (even if everyone have their own taste), which I think is really nice, puts people to try their best ^^

Argh! He should of gotten reported for stolen content not guys like TFS who ALWAYS put a disclaimer on their Abridged episodes. Goodness I can't stand people like him and I never wanna be like him. I wanna do fan animations to show my appreciation for series like Kingdom Hearts or Pokemon or even Dragonball that I grew up with you know? Also learning animation too~ What he does isn't right....sorry I got into a mini rant XD

It seems Toei have seen what he's been doing and blocked his "animations" in some countries. Though it's more likely that Toei only looked what sounds he was using and not animation.
I did look some videos and it seems he have not just traced over official content but also used some fan animations and used some illustrations. This would not be so annoying if the guy wasn't so arrogant and attacking people who point this stuff out. But sadly this all kind of goes into fair use (to my understanding) and he is allowed to do this, after all, he is making new stuff with it, just like TFS, but different way. But I don't think this is going fly when you make original content and he did trace animation for his "original" series trailer so maybe there is going to be some justice for hard working animators. Of course I'd like him stop tracing and actually learn animation and pay some animators to work on his show (and his anime war), put that patreon and youtube money to good use haha.
What programs are you using? There are nice and free drawing programs out there, like Krita and FireAlpaca. Flash MX is free and you can easily export your animations to gif and if you want to make flash movies (swf files) to video formats, get Swivel: link If you're doing things traditionally then maybe scanner is nice to have, makes things less of a hassle, though you can probably get drawing tablet at the same price.

Ugh he's such a scumbag. I wish he would learn the error of his ways and just practice hands on animation instead of just tracing. It would of been fine if he would at least credit what he's tracing. He makes me mad as much as his "fans" make me mad.
Yeah I also wish the guy who made Dragonball Absolon would hire freelancers too instead of being a one man show -_- Ah man...sorry for sound so upset. Just wasted potential really...
Ah...I use Pencil 2D to practice and stuff but I downloaded Clip Studio Pro and Anime Studio Pro. I need to start using those programs much more often. But I have a lot of tutorials to go through you know? And yah I have a drawing tablet. Still learning how to draw digitally lol. I suck at it. That's why most of my work on this site for example is hand drawn XD
