Description C O M B U S T I O N

When a planet gets too close to a sun, it buuuuurrrrns.....

The idea here is that this planet is being melted in the atmosphere of the sun, and the melted silicates are being sucked into the sun by gravity. Friend of mine mentioned that it needs more burning crap falling into the sun, so I'll work on that.

Time taken: 4 hours
Layers: 56

Was originally intended for the Terraspace pack, but I've decided to stop submitting/applying the group for personal reasons :\

Either way, enjoy

your friend is right but there should also be a larger more discolored ring around the area of effect, a dust cloud if you will. if you can manage to get that in without killing the effect of the darker debris ring

The sun doesn't look very sun like, but other than that it's a pretty darn awesome picture!

one small problem, you've forgotten the dodge tool on the star O.o
what are you thinking!
this is really awesome btw, but it looks a bit like a big planet sucking in a smaller one.

That is truly awesome work. I'm getting photoshop discounted through my school, so I'm hoping to get good at working with photographs, but you're on a completely different level, lol. Keep up the amazing work!
