Description

Since I want to learn how to draw cats, I decided to collect a bunch of references for cats eyes. I sorted them based on pupil size and how open the eye is:

left to right -> very thin pupil to very round pupil

top to bottom -> eyes wide opened to eyes almost closed

It wasn’t always easy to find reference and in hindsight I am not sure if the way I sorted them is useful. I figured that since cats don’t have the same muscle groups as humans and thus can’t express themselves like we do, sorting the eyes like this would help me to figure out how to draw emotions of cats. I am not sure if it worked, but this took so long that I don’t just want to let it rot, stored away in the depths of my computer files. Who knows, maybe this is useful to someone
