This may not be the desktop you deserve, but it is the one you need right now.An interactive desktop that features a media player and displays system data, as well as a Batman Logo button for opening explorer.

Arkham.rmskin - A self extracting installation file for rainmeter containing the entire suite
—HOW TO INSTALL———————————————————————————————
Make sure you have Rainmeter 2.2 or higher installed.
If not, get it here. rainmeter.net/
Download the rmskin package from the download buton on top right of this page.
Open the downloaded Arkham.rmskin file, the extraction might take a minute or two, and then you're ready to go!
Any customizations due to different monitor resolutions can be done by manual adjustment of the values.

It looks really good, man...in this photo. The squares won't come up, the date is set in plain font and has hashtags in it, same colour each time, same for the date, but instead of the hashtags the text is overlapping. Couldn't find any weather updates, apart from the 'Do I Need A Jacket?' component. Also, the music player worked and the shady bar worked, but without the rest of the skin, the bar's a bit pointless, doesn't fit much with anything else. So, to conclude, nice 'Jacket' component, music player works, shady bar works, I think I remember finding The Dark Knight Trilogy logo, so, yeah. Whether this is because I'm running Windows 7 and in the picture, the computer's Windows 8, or whether there's a maaaajor problem with the scripts in the Notepads, I don't know...just thought I'd let you know.

Ultimately, i used a shell command. There are other ways too.
