I can name several, would you like names? Like I said, common. Also, recheck the ages, the change from 30 to 50 is hardly drastic as the pose is slightly beginning to hunch over.

Not to mention, don't comment that people know what anime style is, if they are constantly commenting in a fashion that proves that they don't. Perhaps they are spamming the artist with comments that say this style is incorrect out of jealousy then? Pretty obvious, is that they don't know. Or hating. Obvious, is obvious right?

um, a citation means a source or reference. as in, you need to back up what you're saying with actual facts.

i'm aware that "citation" has more than one meaning, but have you never heard the phrase "citation needed"? it's only used in one context, and that is the definition of citation that is the most common. citation: a quotation from or reference to a book, paper, or author, especially in a scholarly work.
i watch plenty of anime, but not all anime characters shrink to the size of children once they reach old age. also, the term "anime" just means animation in Japan - there is not one single defining anime style. anime has extremely wide variations of style - to generalize all of it and say it's all the same is extremely narrow-minded.
this is one person's interpretation of an "anime" body. it is not the only correct interpretation and it never will be.

Yeah, except in the USA my grandmother shrunk more than five inches, still don't quite know how my sister who is only in her mid 30s shrunk almost three whole inches.
