EDIT: Finished! Pics in my gallery.Far from finished, but it's coming along, anyway.
Yay for Cortana. This was just a test shot to see how well my wig went with my suit.

Thats cool that you made a cortana costume. What material did you use and how did you make it? If I may ask.

The suit is made of lycra/spandex. The actual suit I didn't sew, I bought it off eBay. The black markings I drew on while the suit was being worn by my manniquin, a couple friends of mine, and myself.

Did you put the designs on yourself? If so what are they made of? That sounds too professional. xD

The fabric? Its Lycra/Spandex. I actually didn't make the suit, I didn't have a serger at the time and I didn't feel comfortable using a regular machine for an entire suit. XD

I've been planning to cosplay as Cortana for a couple of months now, and I have no idea where to get the basic suit from....I'm checking eBay now! Hope there's something available in the UK....>_>
I'm actually thinking of dying my hair myself....and getting it cut short!

Search for zentai suit and you should find lots of things on eBay! I'll bet you can find something that'll work and someone to ship to you.
My new Cortana wig just came in today, actually! So I'm so close to completing this costume, finally. I've put it off for too long.

Ooh yes - I think I've found the right one! I can't find it in my size though....and I don't want to make mine look exactly like yours - I wouldn't feel happy copying you!
I managed to find a Chinese seller who does custom sizing jobs, so I know it'll fit me either way. It's more of a dark blue than purple, too....

How long do you work on that? How long worked you at this costume? Every time i see it, my chin falls on the table. XD I wish more ppl would cosplay Cortana and other Halo-characters of course. Do you have any others in progress?

Love the picture and the suit, but might I recommend wearing a shirt underneath (if not two) just in case it gets....well, you know....cold.....as it appears it was during this picture
