Description I've seen it before and I've been meaning to do a mini tutorial on this, and I'm just now getting around to it.
Lets face it, it happens.Β
Eyes like this on Canines and Felines are incorrect!

Hope this helps you guys! :3

I'll probably post a tutorial on like common mistakes in art I notice at some point. I have a lot of little things I've seen that aren't hard at all to correct.

But yeah.

Random tutorial time!

Nice little tutorial! You should consider doing one on dog/wolf leg anatomy. I see a lot of people drawing dogs and wolves with high hocks like Jenna's.Β

PricklyAlpaca In reply to MightyBalto1925 [2014-06-09 15:31:11 +0000 UTC]

Yeah I see that too. I should probably do that :3 I'll also probably do one on anthro legs. I see too many people drawing legs in general to look really bendy, when in reality they're firm cause theres a bone inside XD
But yeah, eventually I'll probably see if I get get around to doing a giant tutorial with helpful little tips.

I do a weird cross between the two of these, I think because I was wanting the eyes to be more expressive.Β
I will have to play around sometime (:

There is a number of ways you can do it :3
I have found some really interesting ways of doing eyes that make them very expressive but also keeps them pretty realistic. Maybe this is material for another tutorial? :3

It's one of those picky details that I don't think most people ever really think of. I didn't notice it until I started getting into a more realistic style!
