Description
"Monuments may crumbleAnd nations turn to dust
The wheels of worlds may tumble
Or grind until they rust
And millions may surrender
And bend beneath their fear
But the flames of our resistance
Are just waiting for some air" - All The Good Things

When you use photoshop, how specifically do you edit? what particle effects do you search up?

Surprisingly, this one didn't require photoshop. Just the tablet, Paint Tool Sai, and Pixlr for the filter. When I edit, I always start out with drawing the mane, blood, eye detail, magic, scratches, tears, eyebrows, eyelashes, etc on the tablet. Some particles are manually created with my other pictures by multiple group layers and custom actions. Afterwards, I use Pixlr to add brightness, filter, and crop because when I put the picture on my pc from the tablet it leaves a white border around the top and bottom of the picture. Paint Tool Sai is used for drawing more detail because mobile devices make things look lighter by default. But most of the effects you see are just manually drawn.

Thanks! I had to draw most of the effects including the hair strands and magic using my Android Tablet.

Is there anything in particular you could suggest, brushes, things to look up, stuff to look out for when practicing?
(Unofficially officially asking for teaching XD)

Hmm, with strands I used 1px brush and airbrush on top of it for that glossy look to the hair lighting. I also used the airbrush on Sai for the magic effects, just switched to a luminosity setting. I recommend using the app "Sketchbook Express" on the phone/tablet/etc. That's the app I made the strands with.
