Bad quality?  It was rendered in over 4k (7680 x 4320) as the original picture. If you are talking about the background being blurry, it's because it was made that way to keep the character in focus.

I just clicked the download button to see if anything was out of place and it was all good on my end, So I don't know man.  

Also I'm glad you like the painting, I plan on doing a lot of my artwork in the future like this

Maybe you haven't looked well enough at full size then XD

I'm pretty big on image quality and I tend to have a keen eye for spotting such things ^^ Bad upscaling, aliasing, bad grain... I have seen all of them. Not sure what is the cause of this one's problem.

Hmm, It's very minor and I barely can see it. Perhaps it could be the lighting render I applied in Photoshop? 
Because looking over it carefully I can only spot slight pixel fade (jitter) from when I edited the lighting like some hair strands and armor shine.

All in All it's barely noticable in 100% zoom. I could release a better quality version if I want to, but right now I don't see it as a major issue.

Yeah not many people have a good eye for such things, even among artists, sadly. It happens from time to time that I see an artist uploading something with a quality problem and they didn't even see it! XD I've even had to explain to someone what aliasing was, lol ^^"
Hmm I more thought it was a bad upscaling algorythm problem. It could be from an effect or filter too, but that would be the first time I see such a result

Well, for you it is barely noticeable, but for me and any art enthusiast (call us "perfectionnists" if you want lol) it is noticeable enough that we spot it in a matter of seconds, lol I'm just letting you know to help you. I'm always such an art appreciator and being so positive, giving constructive criticism is very hard for me, however as I have a good eye for spotting technical quality problems I thought I could at least let the artists know about that, lol ^^
But yeah, you're doing art for yourself, not for others, so don't bother if you don't want to, lol xP Was saying just in case you cared for technical quality of your pictures... and because I could appreciate the details of your pictures better if they have 100% quality... and because I could download them then if I like them enough... xP
Hopefully that was some sort of bug that won't happen on other pictures ^^
