our first project for VS187x-2: paint and pixel.about 20hrs over the weekend.
psd size: 346mb.
my photos. my face. sunflower eyes, clouds for a nose, and rose petal lips.
the months of crap are over.
you fell ass backwards
tripped over stairs
hair all tangled in whispers
words spilled from your pockets
jeans scuffed and faded
as you went head over heels
and tumbled into my arms.
then you said hello
and i said me too.

i really like that...nicely stated. as for the picture i like the use of telephone polls. good work, and hooray that it's all over!

Very cool and retro. I find myself staring at the sunflower eyes, they're very mesmerizing. The color is handled very well in this composition, not too bright, but appropriately eye-catching. Love the telephone poll halo in the back. The red lips bother me a little bit, maybe it's because they make you look like Yoko :-P
