Description
A compilation of moments between Vargan and Ghorza involving food.Vargan makes a comment to Ghorza: "You're small, but you eat like an orc," during their first meal together. To be fair, she hadn't eaten in a few days when he found her.
Given that orcs were once nomadic I can assume they were accustomed to eating just about anything that would hold still long enough to be caught. This would include insects. Ghorza is well-read enough to know that many cultures, even in her world, include insects as a major part of their diet, but that doesn't mean she's anxious to try them herself.
In the last panel Vargan is trying to hand feed Ghorza a strawberry -she is his little pet after all.

It's actually an original story, and I intend to get it published someday. I'm actually thinking about setting up a Patreon where people can get excerpts of the story as I write it.

'Nice he treats her on the level of other Orcs when it comes to food. Being as she is a pet. Though, that could lead to some interesting thoughts Ghorza may have had when fretting on what being a "pet" entailed for her.
"Am I going to have to learn how to perform humiliating tricks? Will I be forced to walk on all fours? Beg for my food? Will I live off table scraps? Bones?!?!?! ... I hope he doesn't dress me up in ridiculous outfits! Wah!!!!"

That is definitely a plot point. While Ghorza did agree to be his pet, she made the mistake of not making him clarify the "conditions" of her ownership before she consented. That being said, Vargan is a good Master and treats her very well. So I guess she gets to be kind of a spoiled pet, lol.
Also due to the strained relations between humans and orcs, having a human as a personal guest to the king would be frowned upon, and met with adversity. But keeping her as a "pet" or a "slave" would be acceptable.

So she was given options? "My only options here: pet or slave? Pet! Definitely pet..." Then to find out... "Fudge muffins! Pets are treated worse than slaves here!!!!" XD

Lol. Not exactly. Basically the choice was: "I'll free you and you can go off alone... or you can come with me and I'll take care of you, but in exchange you will belong to me... as my human pet."
Seeing as how she was in some strange land, didn't know where she was, and had no money agreeing to his offer seemed the better option.

Also, did Ghorza make that decision after getting some grub in her or after? It all depends on how one's mind works, at the time, after all...

Then she must have good fortune on her side. 
Yeah, I'm used to people not knowing when I am joking and never really expect anyone to. I'm all "inside jokes". Then in all irony, I'll say something and those around me will burst out laughing. Half the time I can deduce why they found what I said to be humorous, but the other half, I'm usually lost. *Shrugs*
