I think the adequate punishment is simple here. Trixie evidently has a strong disdain for books.
So turn her into/trap her in one for a day, or at least a few hours, and file her away somewhere until it's time for her to be released. At the very least, it will make her stop vandalized library prop- oh wait. Isn't that a crime? If it's not, whatever, but Trixie should be fined appropriately or something.
