...but life size model this time! over 4 meters tall.I disassembled my dad's old Nissan truck which he doesn't use anymore. But its not enough so I also went to a car disassemble center many times to buy mechanical parts. I probably bought over one ton stuff i think..
It takes me almost a month to put them together, lots of fun.

The beginning of Pacific Rim is now... Haha, just kidding. This is a very impressive sculpture, really like the backstory of how you got the parts for it. If I had more follow-through I would try to make a working robot or something, but for now it's just drawings. It's cool to see something as finished as this.

But seriously, awesome job! At first I thought this was a 3D model superimposed into a photo, but then I read your description and was amazed! This seems like one hell of an undertaking, especially with the fact that you ended up having to go to junkyards and salvage parts. The end result is so close to the sci-fi world that people envision that I can almost smell the engine grease in a near-future where something like this could become reality.
