Judge's Feedback "I really felt that you had a vision with this and seeing a full ref with such fine details really impressed me. I love how you incorporated her powers into the equation. The dark colors were spot on for her type of character, you definitely paid attention when I mentioned that dark colors would have a higher advantage of placing
The collar around her neck is amazing and has a unique style to it, and the bolts you drew on the back of her boots was the perfect touch. Congratulations on the win!"------------------------------------------
This was my contest entry (CE) for Crystal's Storm Design Contest !
The contest was aimed at designing a unique design for Storm, so I thought I'd give her a reference sheet for the outfit; so I did my best!
This is my first try at a reference sheet, I really hope she likes it. I loved drawing her character!
I enjoyed doing this very much, and would love for any artistic advice that people have - especially when it comes to neat line art and shading. :')
Notes:
I have, in the course of making this outfit, made several outfits that look entirely different to this one - but believed this one suited her the most and drew the reference for it. If you like this outfit, I may (in the near future) be putting the others up for adoption! What part of the reference sheet were you thinking of? <3
I don't mind if you like a particular pose on the reference sheet (so long as you credit me, this piece of artwork and don't sell the bases) but not all of the poses on this reference sheet are mine! xD
If you mean the general template of the reference sheet (like the boxes without the poses), I could give you that to work with if you'd like. ^^
It also makes a difference of what you'd like to do with the base as well - if you plan on making adoptables from it or selling the base (like, drawing characters over the top of the base that you intend to sell), I'd have to say no. If you just plan on using this reference sheet as reference when you're creating one for your own personal character, or wish to use a specific pose (that is my pose) from this reference sheet to draw your character on, I may say yes if you give the proper credit towards me.
I hope that makes sense! Please let me know more, so I can say a simple yes or no. :'D

Well, I planned on using the the whole thing minus the poses, I can draw the poses on my own.
I don't plan on selling it(unless commissions counts.... o3o), I wanted to use for my characters.(and possibly commissions....)

You may IF you credit me for the reference sheet template, that includes each time you use it (so in commissions you can say you drew the poses, but you used Project--Xeta 's reference sheet layout). That information should also be included on the image itself (it's currently in the lower right corner in small text) and shouldn't be removed - it will only say that the layout template is done by me, but it will not say 'reference by me'.
If you agree to those terms, then you can! I will provide a copy of the template for you to use 'as a base' in png format.

In my opinion there were better entries than mine with colours though, I think I made the character have quite a dark appearance looking back on it!
