Description
After coming home tonight from working nearly 13 hours today (I so jinxed myself saying how much I was dreading going back lol) all I wanted to do was go lay in bed and take my photo for the night there, edit it while laying in bed, and then turn out the light... Too bad I left the tripod in the car, whoops... So I threw on this fancy dress I've got, which I've been sorta saving for an opportunity just like this to arrive (namely a reason to go outside at night, most nights I'm far too lazy to head back outside once I'm inRelated content

Interesting, the shadow from your left arm makes it look like you have a much smaller waist.

it so does! (I think that causes my butt to look massive though, so it's a trade off
)

I agree, creepy. I love the slight blur, the sidewalk twisting out of the frame, the bright red, yellow and green with the pale pink, and the fact that you are standing perfectly strait while in mid-stride, almost like you're floating.

hehe yay floating!! I was actually trying to catch the wind in the bottom of my skirt, so the rest of my body wound up kinda stiff... but it worked out for the best

gorgeous dress. This would be cool maybe bumped up and B&W, it would have a very ghostly feel with the noise

I agree with the eeriness as a cool effect. I like how the path kinda fades to leading the eye and leaving the viewer wondering where your going. I think it would look so cool with out those street lights on the right but o well. The pose and stance is really nice and I can tell it obvious you know what you doing. Great job and very pretty dress and hair. Hope you sleep well tonight!

yeah, I kept trying different exposures to see if I could eliminate the lights from the other apartments, but it just wasn't working... you're right it would be much better without that...

remind me of those ghost stories where a lady is always walking down the street looking for a ride home and when someone picks her up, she disappears.

It does look like a scene out of a horror movie! LOL
But it's a beautiful shot too. Lovely long hair, cute dress, and absolutely gorgeous bare feet in mid-stride.
This is definitely going to my favorites.

Yes, it does have an eerieness to it, but I think you've hit upon a good idea here.
