Description
For a long time, the super star destroyer concepts I made sometime ago had traits I liked that made be hard to decide which one I like the most. It was hard for me but while thinking of updating some of my concepts, I used what I learned from SketchBook and Paintbrush to combine the strongest elements of the two. This is finally, a solid super Star Destroyer design I'm finally comfortable with. Both redesign and update to my previous Imperator-class idea. I think this finally works out as what I wanted with a lot of rethinking. I like the super star destroyer but wanted to make it feel practical in a space battle setting. I'm sure there are others out there that figured it out with better concepts and ideas, but this is for now mine. I've also did some rethinking about the faction this vessel would belong so please expect changes in the future.

Decades have passed since the end of the Galactic Civil War. It's a time of fragile peace with the New Republic as the dominate power in the Galaxy. But peace is a fragile thing when you try to ignore other more threatening powers within your own ranks and beyond watchful eyes. The New Republic failed as the First Order rose. It simply could not survive as the First Order annihilated the core leadership with the destruction of Hosnian Prime and the entire Galactic Senate. But one would think that the New Republic and the First Order were the only powerful state factions of the time, but there were other factions out there in the galaxy that watched and waited. One of those factions was a surviving Imperial remnant that formed their own state in the galactic north, far from the events and affairs of the New Republic. They were the Imperial State of Erhadar, or simply 'the Imperium'. The refused any alliance with the First Order nor joined the New Republic. to protect themselves, they used the new resources they discovered with Imperial ambition. Vessels like the Imperator-class Star Dreadnought were built to reinforce their own military strength in their part of the galaxy. A powerful upgraded dreadnought superior to the late Executor-class Star Dreadnought 30 years ago. Ship like it, were new and strong. The most famous of the Imperator-class was the infamous Leviathan. The flagship of the Imperium. If the First Order does come and wage war against the Imperial State, the Leviathan and her sister ships will lead the defending fleets against their more aggressive, authoritarian cousins..
