About the cameras. I have used both. It's like choosing from two most beautiful girls. Blonde or Brunette. I love em both. Just kidding.
I prefer Canon more because thats the first digital SLR I bought.

sweet i have a nikon d50, its good but ive had it for a year, and would like to go to a D80 or RebelXTi

I would say...go for the D80.. I have tried the XTi and sometimes had problem with underexposure. Nikon D80 is a very good camera.

you know... nikon Vs Canon? (I've seen a bunch of your stuff say it was shot with a D70s, then I suddenly saw the digital rebel photos)

It's terrible here in Florida! You can barely see a mile in the distance they're so much haze from fires...
