Hey grvrulz,
I just wanted to thank you for the amazing job you've done! I've been looking for something a bit darker for my gnome-shell, and this fit perfectly.

Nice theme, but I know I'm missing something. It's the icons. May I know what icon set are you using in the screenshot?

Rock on!The user input and tab updates are most appreciated! From a usability perspective, I do have one criticism; making the selected context menu header blue is rather distracting from the dropdown itself. I prefer it how it was, but other I prefer the new context menus, even if the inactive entries are now a little too dark rather than too light as they were before... Its nice to be able to read the inactive options in order to assist learning the keyboard shortcuts.
Also, if I may (), firefox's tabs look nice with Hope: Hows about inverted colors on inactive tabs? Rather shmexy, no?
BTW, Firefox is fine here.

thank u so much.. i'm glad u like it..
About the headers, yes i think that was left out by mistake(). This will be fixed when I'll do a major restructuring of the code(removing duplicate styles). I'll do it after tomorrow's exam though..
The inactive entries are like that because they are unstyled(i think)
Btw Fiefox tabs aren't styled by the gtk theme, i'll make a userstyle if it's needed. And yea, inverted colors on tabs will be a nice thing(i'll note that down for the next theme though.. )
Again, thank you very much for the suggestions..
Also welcome to deviantart..

Yeah, I know Firefox handles its own windows... I just think the tabs look nice with Hope
Anyhow, its coming along nicely! I was a bit scared unico wouldn't play nice with Compiz, but it appears to be an Ubuntu thing - no problems with Arch

yeah they really look nice..
And Arch is great, we only need a kernel30 package now..

This theme is awesome
But theres an issue. Im using fedora 15 and in Opera Browser or Firefox for instance it wont load theme properly. So my scroolbars and buttons, comboboxes etc looks ugly like windows 95... :/
Do you know what could it be?
Thx and congrats for the great work

thank you so much..
About your issue, you need to install the murrine gtk engine for apps that use gtk2.

It's lovely
My only suggestion would be to improve the Nautilus toolbar integration, the sidebar is a fraction of a shade off.
Can't wait for the Gnome-Shell theme

text color is a bitch in some gtk3 stuff, I understand your pain
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
properlypurple In reply to TheDeviantMars [2011-05-19 11:28:58 +0000 UTC]
yes it is, because i've never had the text color problems while many people seem to be having it. Even in my screenshot u can see that all the text is perfect. I think there's some problem with the gtk versions(maybe)
