UPDATE: Extra tip I forgot to add: constantly flip or 'invert' your sketch. Mirrored, it's easier to pick out what looks 'off', and fix it. You want your picture to look okay whether or not it's flipped. Most if not all digital art programs have this option, and with paper you can usually do this by flipping the page over and putting it up against a lit window.

Step 1-3 took about 20-30 minutes, while step 4 took me about 40-60. If I had done step 5, it would've been around 10-20. I tell you these times to reinforce how slow you should go when you sketch.
