Description
This is a little something that shows how I draw my Transformers. It features how to draw the Classics Megatron from the Ultimate Battle 2 pack and a second method of how to turn a human pic into a Transformer featuring Optimus Prime.I'm not an expert and am still learning myself, but maybe some one will find this of use.

I might have to try it this way. I've been trying to draw Megatron and he looks like he's been turned into taffy 'round his mid-section. Just looks AWFUL.

with facial features on people, you have this thing where you draw them the same way every time. dont.
next time you draw a face, think about it first and draw what things actually look like rather than drawing how youve picked up. its hard to explain.
when your drawing things, you mind tends to make shortcuts and templates. for instance, picture several buckets on the ground. in each of them is a separate facial feature. what your mind does, is when you want to draw, it picks one out of the buckets before you consider how your going to draw it. next time, dont listen to it. its one of the hardest things for an artist to do, but the key is to be free flowing with your art work rather than like a computer.
regardless of how shit it looks when you try it, keep going and picture HOW you think it will look in real life (regardless if your going to be drawing life or not). things always have scale, perspective and a style about them. stick by it and you shouldnt have a problem.
