Firstly stopping yourself from saying the word sex implies that you find it disgusting too.
Sex may be natural and how humans (and animals for that matter) reproduce but it is still gross and disgusting. I would never willingly have sex. And not everoyne was made because of sex, nowadays there is IVF. And also people find sex enjoyable and I don't see how it can be.

Over-protective parents aren't really the one's who make it look bad. Its people in societies who deem it as bad because Intercourse Is the main reproduction for humans.
