Time to Get Legit... temporarily anyway. Thought I'd pool all of my latest tech. I've never been a fan of simple studio backgrounds since they are plain and don't justify the extra render time. Alternatively, actual backgrounds take so much time to prep AND render. Recently, I purchased some assets for other projects, and I figured some might make for some simple backdrops. While seeing how other assets are configured, I started converting materials to use PBR/Principled shaders more. Along with using regular lamps more instead of emissive plans, I revisited the volumetric stuff for a bit more depth. Last but not least, I implemented more recently learned smoke effects and use of the hair plugin. Enjoy!Extracted with miscellaneous modding tools
