Description
While doing a recent Ninja Gaiden Sigma playthrough, I finally had an idea for a custom Rachel Swimsuit. While in the process, I started tinkering with Cloth Physics again. Past attempts failed because I was testing on non-cloth elements... Things worked this time around and I applied them to dress/train. The suit is a hybrid based on parts from Tina & Lisa suits, but I wanted to incorporate the Ninja Gaiden Scarabs somehow as a theme, so I do some gold, metallic & red jewel modifications. Not the original animation I intended, but it still works as its her default stance from DOA. I at least wanted something to sample the cloth physics. Soft Body physics are improving, and I finally decided to try cloth on the hair again instead of Soft Body. I can't do a perfect loop because of the physics. Overall everything is ok, minus a couple of clipping issues. This is the first time I tried to achieve a 60 fps animation, but in the end because of the Animated GIF I still had to reduce the frame rate just so it would bog down. I'll reveal the swimsuit name once I do a full render.Notes

This looks fantastic! You nailed it on this one. Cloth Physics can be rough. The times I've played with it I can tell a big difference in realism depending on the size of the model. I'm guessing it has something to do with how close the vertices are. Soft Body Physics look great! Well done!

Thanks! Definitely a trade off, more verts means better quality, but potentially more calculation time. :-/
