Critique:
The radiation that flows off the bright blasting light is very detailed yet transparently realistic. The use of imbalance in the work creates a sense of hierarchy and power in the blast, the darkness of the landscape creates such an ominous and continuity in the rocky land. I truly adore that the ability that has been created to give the viewer a sense that the land continues on, even off the page of the work; giving a true sense of this dangerous and abandoned land. The focal point draws us in, and the flow of the light into the darkness as it weakens gives a true sense of depth in the work.

The fog seems at times to flow in an odd direction, but the sparks of colour bring a light that distracts the viewer, regardless of this. Overall I enjoy this piece of art and the textures and believability of the expressive realism is great.
