Description Page 02

A serious short story for my Crisis Core doujinshi. Sephiroth/Genesis, based around the Nibelheim incident and inspired by this fanfic . (warning: it's rather...violent.)

Just...to head this off. I'm going to be a little harsh, but. I know a lot of people have gotten worked up over the retconning in CC, especially the addition of Genesis to the Nibelheim incident.

I don't care. I really don't feel like arguing with anyone over it. I liked the way the scene was done, I think it worked and was effective storytelling. The end.

(this is kind of surreal for me, though. I wasn't that interested in Sephiroth's character until Crisis Core...he was always just the "villain" until they gave him a slightly warmer side and friends, which made his descent into madness that much more tragic.)

...somehow, looking at Zack's face, I keep thinking of Vash from Trigun...I really shouldn't do that (old memories are ooooold). @_@

Actually, I kinda thought Zack's eyes are a little wide for his expression. He looks more shocked or surprised than in pain or angry determination of sorts.

The rest looks good, though.

Ahahah, Trigun. Good times. (love that show)

He's supposed to look a bit freaked out. I'll have to watch the scene again, but my impression was that when Zack yelled that line he was more "desperate" than anything else (since he had almost figured everything out and realized what an impact it would have on Sephiroth if he were told. Which it...does.)

The hard part was that they don't really show Zack through the rest of the scene, so you don't get much of an idea of his reactions...
