Description
More people, this time mostly from imagination rather than references.Again, it's frustrating *knowing* the anatomy, but lacking the experience to utilise that knowledge... These things look lumpy and unattractive and generally crude. I'm hoping that by doing loads of them, though, I'll get more fluent at this.

You're drawing a heck of a lot! I love these drawings, they're so fluid yet sketchy and messy. I love that! I'm jealous! I can't draw the human body without a reference, so i really admire this a lot ^^

Thank you again! Though I envy people who can do sketches with neater lines; that's something that's beyond my abilities at the moment!
Have you tried drawing people from your mind much? Since you draw people so much from references, I wonder how much of what you see and draw sticks in your memory!
Though the main reason I'm able to draw people without references is because I did loads and loads of these long video tutorials that explore all the proportions, bones, muscles, etc, one by one... I've done hundreds of them now, and I'm still not satisfied with my understanding! I haven't done the ones for arm and leg muscles yet, so I'm mostly clueless about those bits.

That's some extremely in-depth study you have been doing there! Most artists I know wouldn't bother to go to that length. You have motivation and enthusiasm that I rarely see I admire that so much! I've tried drawing people from my mind, but I'm not practiced enough and haven't learn enough about the human body yet. It will be a slower process for sure, but i process I think I will enjoy more rather than some intensive study on the human body
(Although I have nothing against that)

Intensive study of the body is not fun! It's why I've yet to get around to the arm and leg tutorials myself, bleh... They take so long and they're really tedious and... well!
So I'm also trying to learn stuff just by drawing by eye at the moment! No doubt you'll have success yourself by doing the same!

Yeah, it doesn't sound too fun I don't want drawing to become a tedious thing. And although it seems it will greatly help your skills it will probably bore me to death

generally looks good. At 1 2 and 3 arms are too short
