Will there be a Random Comic 02 ?!?!???XD
This is a photoshop fun piece (so, no, you don't have to critique this one). Started a week or 2 ago. And I decided to finish it up today. Please forgive the script, because there is none. I cringe at my writing.

- I like how Frank Miller draws his comics. Especially The Dark Knight Returns. His art is very functional... The art is there to help move the story along and not dominate it. It doesn't get in the way and gives you enough information and style to be satisfied~ X3 I drew this partially in 'memory' of his work. :3
- Ooooo the tentacled-spider is SOOOOOO original~ XD
- It must suck to get your bum kicked on a nice starry night like this...

it's blue here. but that was when I haven't quite settled on things yet. it might still be blue now. dunno XD haven't thought about it. and 'more' is sitting quitely in my computer... hibernating.

I like the pictures themselves, but I hate the paneling. At least, for a comic, it looks weird to situate the images that way.

there's a brilliant use of contrast in this page. not only are the colours in the first and second halfs polar opposite, but so is the mood. you present us with something calm, tranquil even and then suddenly rip it away from us and throw us bang into the middle of a fight. there's a great sense of movment and the skcetcy style you've employed fits so well.

For such a spontanious piece, this is spectacular. The art is goergeous, the story is engaging, swashbuckling and emotional, and the presentation dynamic. Damn this is good..... *bitterness*

Squid's expression in the last panel is great, lmao. The set up flows nicely and Ohm's all angsty... so do we get a continuation? Pleeeeeeeease??
I like the storyboard look to it... all the comicbook artists draw the same way, and set everything up the same way, so it's refreshing to see your work, regardless of whether or not it was intentional.

Frank Miller uses his art greatly with stories.. i have The Dark Knight book and in some pages the art isnt done perfectly but for some reason it just works greatly ya know? so yeah, i get what you're saying.. he also uses that style of art with Sin City even more so.
I actually liked this random comic a lot and i would say that while the art is sketchy i think it fits well too as you said =3 Ohm is a very interesting character, with his conflicting nature and whatnot (loves anything he's in lol)

Oh, and I really wanna know where this place Ohm wants to go is. 0_o Looks like the monster's insides or an elephant graveyard in a lava-pit. At least like something none-too pleasant.

I don't think I've ever seen Squid panic before, and I think it's sweet how he's worred about Ohm there. I love the brotherhood bond between these guys, very different though they are. So, am I completely off, or does Ohm have a death wish? o_o Poor Ohm... don't let him die, Squiddy!
And I think the monster's not half bad. I can't draw monsters period. -_-

i was trained in doing storyboards.
so i never really figured out how to do comic panels in a creative way like what you see in the comics you usually read. i hope i'll be able to break out of this... or just use what i know to make a comic 'style' of my own... like so XD
