Description
There are times where we recognize the terrible ugliness inside us. We are so aware of it that it overwhelms us. We don't know what to do about it. We curl into ourselves in an attempt to escape. We put up many barriers to hide from those around us. We sink deeper into solitude.
We are weary of everyone... We think they don't understand anything. We don't realize that we might have shut out those who do understand what we're going through, and in spite of everything, really want to help us.
But they can't do anything... unless we let them.
And we'll never let them, unless we trust them.
So maybe we can give them a chance...
and learn to trust them...
Because... chances are...
once... long long ago...
They were ugly too.

Nightmare Creatures have taken up residence in this once sunny land of the girl's mind. They found it was a suitable place to live. They're not going to give it up easily. And neither is Ohm.
Sorry. I really shouldn't have made the comment about the number of animals or the monochrome. It detracts from what is really important in this piece. I'm glad some of you got the point of the picture. It's my fault. Sorry.

You know what I think would be really neat? If you removed the text bubbles! It would make this look even more mysterious as well as make people stare at it longer to try to figure out what's going on. But I still love this either way! I dunno how to paint in Photoshop yet

damn; your imagry and writting pack a powerful punch. there really is a sense of corruption in this image, what with the still visable figure clutching at themselves while that twisted mass of black seemingly wrapps itself around them, clinging to them with the numerouse tendrils and whatnot. the way that stagger foward and the slumped poses really gives off a sense of defeat and it's so very easy to belive that they jhave just sucummb to theri self-lothing/ depression.
as for the corruption; there's that wired bubble-like structued cutting ohm off from the girl and within it there's this managery of twisted animals (indeed, though they be nothing more than sillouetts, the multipul eyes do alot to transform them into sinister entities) and gnarly branches. indeed, this makes a dark contast to the more serene setting lying behind the dream agent. the mood is created quit simply by the use of white perculating through the trees.
ohm looks wonderfully firm in his resolve.

Funny thing is, I didn't notice the animals in the background until you pointed them out.
Also: cool. Seems like you're fleshing out a bit how all this Agent thing works. There are barrier and solitude in the case of my mind, but I've been embracing my own little Nightmare Creatures, except maybe one. Even if I have it it's buried so deep I'm incapable of recognizing it.
Hahah. I'll leave it at that, I'm not here to banter about my personality quirks and emotional problems. I'm here to say I'm still eagerly awaiting the day when you start giving a clear and concise explanation about how all your stuff works and make a comic or series or something other than these mish-mash of images.

I think the animals reflect how innocent and charming her mind was before the nightmares came, and how effected they are.

Oh wow. this is really moving. Your description really brings the image to life. I love the darkness and creepyness of the nightmare creatures and how some of them are in the shape of small cutish furry animals. That's even scarier than the big fanged mouth popping out of her face almost. Ohm looks so calm with his hands on that spiked barrier. The whole image makes me sad, but hopeful. Sad that people can have all those horrible thoughts in their minds, but hopeful knowing that with help from others they can rid themselves of those thoughts. And I have no idea if you even thought of it, but this image reminds me of the story of Legion from the Bible. But that might be just me. Anyway, I really like this.

This is amazing. Ohm looks so...gentle, almost. Like he pities the mind that became like this and is going to do anything he can to get that thing out.
Random question: have you ever read The Singer by Calvin Miller? because a great deal of your dream art reminds me of that book...like both are written in with the same flavour...

This piece has such powerful emotion expressed through it. Sphere shape for protection dwelling, sharp lines for danger unwelcoming....
