I love this. I've been using SlanXP for a long time, and I needed something to go with my green spring wallpaper. It took forever to find something, and I found one that was exactly like my favorite theme available for vista, except in multiple colors! Great!
I wish there were a white version, though. :[

Fiiiiiiinally a Vista theme that is actually nice AND useable. Thank you thank you thank you! I was using Codename Opus [link] before switching the Windows Server 2008, and I spent hours looking for a Vista Basic theme.
This is by far the nicest theme for vista that is actually clear and easy to use (none of that dark or impossible to read stuff). +fav and +watch in case you come up with something even better (Codename Opus adaptation for Vista?!?)

I love the style of the "metal" theme. I just wish the minimize,maximize and close icons were bigger and centred on the taskbar.

Favorite skin duo to his simpleness and nice to use... some things to small but no problemn for a expert clicker as me =3.

it's not working.... i have all the uxtheme thing and when i click on the theme i want to use, nothing happens just the style window opens and nothing happens...

the skin is very good, some buts though:
- no tree view +- signs in old programs
- segoui font is much worse than candara imho

I like this skin because it's so complete, it has everything you'd want in a skin "Change", it doesn't just look like a recolor of the original skin.

God damit this is nice! But I have to agree with Mheltin, I just bought a decent notebook to enjoy all the vista graphics goodie-goodie so it such a shame I cant see/use it because I'm using a basic theme...

Maybe he has Home basic or he prefers doing basic themes because he doesn't like all th aero transparency garbage. Plus, us people on Home basic need themes too.

he probably does have the windows areo interface enabled [link] I think more it's something along the lines of a pain in the arse customizing aero since - I guess - there are thousands and thousands of images/resources you can/have to change...
well let's try vista basic then and see how long i can make it without the fancy graphics

now i know why you canΒ΄t answer my questions about my image stretching problems: you found an easy way to port xp visual styles by adding new images to msstyles and having a complete new variant. i think you have a trick for this and you arenΒ΄t changing all variant hex-values for stretching manually, you are porting the hex codes from xp,too. so please explain "how"? how are you porting i am nearly sure that you have an easier way than we. Am i right??
anyway very good work and it would be nice to see how to make a new stream with new image positions like you did in aero bister.
