Description
This is a piece that a friend of mine commissioned me to do a while back. I finally managed to get it done during my Thanksgiving break from school.
I tried to mix it up and change my style a bit here and be a bit more ambitious with the colors and lighting. Though the light effect I was going for didn't really work out, I'm pretty happy with it as a whole, and my friend, Rachel, really seemed to like it. That's really all that matters with commissions anyway

She asked me to draw her as a mermaid.

This ended up working out nicely for me because after showing it to a few friends I ended up booked with 3 more commissions, YAY $$$$
