Description
#8: Flour Sack Waving. Compared the others this was a walk in the park. Took a bit over an hour to create, and most of that was getting acquainted with Krita's interface. Looking forward to using it for the rest of the animations.<- Previous Animation || Next Animation ->
After realizing just how inept I am at animating anything other than an ambiguous, amorphous blobs, I decided to go on a bit of an animation pilgrimage. I'm going to be plowing through a list of 51 animation exercises (found at the very excellent animatorisland.com) to try and get myself going. I've found it's easier to just follow a list than it is to try and think up little tasks for myself. I'll also be timing how long it takes for me to complete the exercise. I theorize that this will encourage me to stop being a lazy twit and letting myself get distracted by stuff. The list is as follows...
Level 1 Exercises
Level 3 Exercises
Level 4 Exercises
Made using Krita!

Awesome! I did something like this on my page. 30 days of animation. It was a bit stressful, but I did it! It is adorable!

if that means 1 new animation every day for 30 days, that would have been stressful. I guess it would definitely force you to keep things simple. Might try that if I ever get this done

I found it useful when I was in a creative rut and couldn't think of anything I wanted to animate, plus it's nice to experiment. Best of luck!
